Can Eclypse Super Absorbent (SAP) be used under compression
    therapy?

It is standard practice to use compression to treat venous leg ulcers. The early stages of treatment can be challenging to deal with a heavily draining wound. As compression is applied, usually more exude is derived. Several of the Eclypse dressings are specifically designed to accommodate heavy-exudating wounds AND compression therapy.

Eclypse® is soft and conforming and has the least effect on sub-bandage pressures when polymers in the dressing expanded.

Eclypse Boot® is a super absorbent dressing specifically designed to manage high levels of fluid in the lower limb.

The preshaped design overcomes the traditional time-wasting complexities of dressing ‘leaky legs’ with a combination of dressings that are often bulky and restrict patient mobility.

Anatomically designed to fit the lower limb and foot 12 Super absorbent interconnected compartments to optimize absorbency Highly conformable Significantly improves patient mobility Easy to apply, single dressing design Reduce dressing application time Available in three sizes

    Frequently asked questions

Can Eclypse® be used under pneumatic compression
systems? Yes, the thin and conforming design of the Eclypse is ideal for capturing
fluid while patients are utilizing pneumatic compression therapy.

Are there any contraindications? Not advised for use on arterial bleeds or
bleeding wounds, making it difficult to assess blood loss. Not advised for
individuals with a known silicone sensitivity.
