    Venous Leg Ulcer
    – Poor circulation return
    – Moderate – heavy exudate
    – Occurs in the Gaiter area (between ankle & calf)
    – Tends to be medial
    – Irregular in shape

    Arterial Wound

    – Poor blood flow to the extremities
    – None-Scant exudate
    – Occurs in the foot and toes (the most distal part)

    Neuropathic or Diabetic Wound
    – Minimal – heavy exudate
    – Occurs on the bottom of feet

    Pressure Wound
    – Minimal – heavy exudate
    – Occurs on Sacral or other bony prominences
    – Only type from this assortment of wounds that gets staged
